We work in industrial and commercial buildings installing new systems and upgrading existing installations. Clients have changing work patterns and require flexibility in their requirements. FTD recognise the need to offer a service to meet their clients overall requirements and so we deliver both building and electrical solutions.

We offer a design and build service, and create a team of professionals to cover design, building control, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering etc. We are also happy to become a team member with your existing designers and contribute to the overall effort.

We can deliver new buildings, refurbishments of existing buildings and can literally install any structural element, cladding or roofing. We have suggested and delivered pre-fabricated constructions when it best suits the situation and built and refurbished all manner of buildings to a high standard.

We design and install new electrical systems from the origin of supply and deliver a system complete with manuals and as built drawings. We design electrical installations from scratch and provide a comprehensive system that covers lighting, power, data and emergency lighting. Within these areas we have designed specialist lighting for shops and licensed premises as well as 3-phase supplies and security and external lighting.

FTD are NICEIC and NHBC registered and can carry out all electrical tests and provide documentation to show compliance.
